FAQ
do you travel and where are you based?
Yes I would love to go wherever you are willing to take me. I am based in sunny Durban, South Africa.
How early can we book you?
I only take bookings 12 months in advance. However, I am willing to make exceptions in some cases. Reach out and I will see how I can help you.
How many pictures will we receive and how long will it take to edit them?
I do not limit the number of images that I give my clients, as each wedding is unique. Therefore, the number will usually be between 600-1000 images.
I take 14 days from shooting your wedding to edit and will have your images in an online gallery ready for you to view and download.
We are awkward in front of a camera.
This is probably one of the most common concerns I hear from couples. I am patient and allow you to grow more comfortable with the camera by just having some fun with each other in a relaxed location and just being yourselves. We recommend an engagement session for any couple who wants "a test run" before the big day. I can promise you that you will leave feeling more confident in front of the camera and forgetting there was one there in the first place.
We live abroad and won't be able to meet until the wedding day.
Thankfully, with the wonders of technology that can be solved with a video call! Still gives us a chance to "meet" and can put your mind at ease and talk through all your plans.
Can you help us with a timeline for our wedding day?
Yes. If you are feeling lost and need a guiding hand regarding the flow of the day, I am more than willing to help. Send me a message and I can walk you through your day.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME OF DAY FOR THE CREATIVE SHOOT?
The best light is in the golden hour, which happens roughly an hour before the sun goes down. Look at 45 mins to an hour for a creative shoot.
What happens if it rains?
Simple, umbrellas! Clear umbrellas are the best for photographing on your wedding day as they let the light through. The weather is the one uncontrollable factor on the day so, my advice, go with it and make the best memories whatever the weather.
