He saw her from across the crowded room… and it was love at first sight. Well… for Jared at least! These two met at a local coffee shop and after Jared did all he possibly could to woo Liz she finally came around to him and they've been inseparable since. A love story brewed !
I met Liz & Jared at that same coffee shop where we all bonded over our love for caffeinated drinks. I got to capture their surprise proposal and we had the most fun doing their engagement shoot on rooftops in Durban CBD and outside our iconic City Hall. When they asked me to shoot their wedding day it was a no-brainer! DUH! The way they trusted me to capture the special moments really allowed them to enjoy the day and focus on being present with their guests. When couples give me free reign, and when they are willing to forget about me being there and have fun together it really does make it easy to photograph them and the images speak for themselves.
Their wedding day was a really special one. They had a t-off spot for whacking golf balls over the dam during canapés, loads of fun and funny stories during speeches, and a killer playlist that had everyone on the dance floor - myself included. After COVID19 and all that 2020 was, they hosted a rip-roaring party that had literally everyone's buy-in. Thanks for making it such a jol guys! No doubt your friends and family still reminisce on your wedding as one of the best parties all year.
Of course, this entire day was made possible by some truly exceptional vendors. And credit must be given where credit is due! Well done to everyone involved - this was one for the books!
